EMERGENCY EVACUATION AND WARNING SYSTEMS

OVERVIEW

Commander Emergency Evacuation and Warning Systems are designed to enhance public safety in areas where risk to life exists due to natural occurrences such as severe weather, volcanic activity, or tsunami.

They provide an audible alert of an impending disaster and also offer a wide area public address facility to disseminate information before, during, or after such an occurrence.

They can be configured to meet the requirements of individual situations. Two standard configurations are available in the form of a single site system and a wide area system.

They are totally self contained and stand alone. They are not dependent on the availability of mains power nor do they require connection to a telephone or cellphone network.

The audible alert is an electronic simulation of a double ended mechanical siren and has a useable range of about one kilometre over flat ground.
