SINGLE SITE SYSTEMS

Single site systems comprise an audible alert unit and a local controller. They are designed for use in hotels, resorts, and similar residential premises and are normally operated by management or staff.

The audible alert unit comprises

An electronic siren with three 100 watt outputs

Three 100 watt high efficiency horn speakers, each with a dispersion angle of 120 degrees

Sealed lead acid battery with capacity to operate the siren for at least thirty minutes

Solar panel and regulator to charge the battery and maintain that charge

Controller providing activation, test, and timing functions

The speakers and solar panel are normally mounted at the top of a pole, with the electronics and battery in a secure weatherproof enclosure on the side of the pole.

The controller is installed in an appropriate secure location within the premises. It has three controls, "Test", "Operate", and "Cancel"; and a public address microphone. It is connected by a cable to the audible alert unit.
